Supporting wellbeing through bush play
Based in Rangeville Toowoomba on Giabal and Jarowair Country, Sow & Nurtured offers bush play programs and seasonal women’s circles that nurture connection, wellbeing, and learning through the land. We create opportunities for children and families to explore, grow, and connect with community through meaningful outdoor experiences.

Our Story
Sow & Nurtured grew from a simple, heartfelt knowing that we heal, learn, and thrive when we are connected to land, to community, and to the rhythms that already exist around us.
I’m a Gunggari woman, a mother, and an educator, and I deeply believe that children grow best when they are given the opportunity to care for the land we belong to. When children form relationships with Country through play, observation, and gentle responsibility they don’t just learn about nature, they carry it with them. These lived experiences become memories that shape who they are, how they care, and how they walk through the world.
After many years working in education, outdoor learning, and women’s wellbeing, I felt a strong pull to create something slower… something rooted. A place where children could learn through curiosity and connection, where families could gather in circle, and step out of the rush.
Everything I offer through Sow & Nurtured is guided by relationship with Country, noticing the seasons, listening to the land, and honouring cycles of growth, rest, and renewal. I believe learning doesn’t need to be rushed, fixed, or forced. It unfolds naturally when we feel safe, supported, and deeply connected.
At its heart, Sow & Nurtured is about nurturing belonging, for children, for women, and for community. It’s about sowing seeds of care, respect, and connection, and trusting that the memories we create on the land today will quietly grow alongside our children into the future.
You’re warmly invited to walk alongside me, slow down, and reconnect with the land, with each other, and with yourself.
Sow and Nurtured acknowledges the custodians of this sacred land on which we grow, play, and learn. We pay our deep respects to the Elders our cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, survivors, and our loved ones who guide us with wisdom and strength. As we gather in community, raising children with connection and care, may we honour the truth, walk the path of reconciliation, and nurture healing. May our children and future generations continue to learn from and be held by the spirit of this beautiful, sacred land.
