Blossoms Winter Gatherings
This winter we will gather in rhythm with the season, creating space for connection, creativity, land, and gentle reflection.
Our Winter Solstice gathering will be a special afternoon experience held from 4:00pm – 5:30pm on Sunday 21st June. We will come together to create our own lanterns and then walk side by side as the light fades, honouring the turning of the season, the return of longer days, and the quiet magic of winter.
Our second winter gathering will be held on Sunday 2nd August from 2-4pm, continuing our seasonal journey together. It will be wattle season!
Alongside our seasonal connections, I will be gently weaving in conversations around our changing bodies, menstrual cycles, self-awareness, autonomy, and overall wellbeing. These gatherings are a space for young women to feel supported, heard, and connected — building a deeper relationship with themselves, each other, and the natural world around them.
This is a nurturing space for the girls to be witnessed, to feel safe asking questions, and to connect with themselves, each other, and the rhythms of the season.
Over our time together, the girls will
• Create and share a warming afternoon tea together
• Make their own winter lantern to carry light through the darker season
• Take part in a lantern walk through the bush at dusk, noticing the beauty and stillness of Winter
• Sit in circle to connect, reflect, and share stories
• Explore seasonal crafts and creative activities inspired by Winter
• Notice the seasonal shifts between gatherings, including the first signs of wattle flowering and the gentle transition towards Spring
• Continue building trust, confidence, and connection within the group
• Gently deepen our conversations around body changes, hormones, emotions, and growing up in an age appropriate and supportive way
